Peer Review Process
Serve: Journal of Community Service implements a systempeer reviewrigorous, objective, and transparent process to ensure the quality of each published article. The assessment process is carried out using the peer-review method.double-blind review, where the identities of authors and reviewers are kept confidential to maintain independence and objectivity. Each manuscript will go through a systematic selection process before being decided for publication.

Explanation
The peer review process at Khidmati: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat begins with the submission of the manuscript through the OJS system. The editor performs...initial screeningto ensure that the manuscript aligns with the focus of community service and meets established formatting standards. Next, a plagiarism check is conducted to ensure the authenticity of the work.
Manuscripts that pass the initial stage will go throughdesk evaluation, where editors assess the relevance of the community service activities, the novelty of the program, and its impact on the community. If deemed suitable, the manuscript will be sent to at least two reviewers with relevant competencies.
In processdouble-blind reviewThe reviewer assessed the quality of activity implementation, the empowerment approach, the clarity of the method, and the usefulness of the results for the community. The reviewer then provided recommendations that served as the basis for the author's revisions.
After revisions are made, the editor will make a final decision regarding the acceptance of the article. The final stage includes the processcopyediting and proofreadingto ensure language quality and format consistency before articles are published.
With this system, Khidmati ensures that every published article not only meets academic standards, but also has a real impact and significant contribution to community empowerment.
