IJS: International Journal of Social Humanities is committed to maintaining academic integrity, transparency, and the quality of scholarly publications in the social sciences and humanities. This publication ethics policy adheres to international principles, such as those of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), which govern the responsibilities of all parties involved in the publishing process: editors, reviewers, and authors.

Explanation

The publication ethics policy at IJS: International Journal of Social Humanities aims to ensure that every published article meets high academic and ethical standards. All parties involved have a responsibility to maintain scientific integrity, from the writing process through to publication.

Editors are responsible for making objective decisions based on the scientific quality of manuscripts without discrimination. Reviewers play a role in providing constructive and independent evaluations to improve the quality of articles. Meanwhile, authors are required to ensure that submitted work is original research, free from plagiarism, and not currently under consideration for publication in another journal.

Furthermore, transparency is a key principle of this policy, including disclosure of conflicts of interest and the validity of research data. If violations such as plagiarism or data manipulation are discovered, the journal reserves the right to take action such as rejecting the manuscript, correcting it, or even withdrawing the article.
