Therefore, this journal has established a policyRetraction (article withdrawal) And Correction (article improvement) As part of academic responsibility to address errors and violations of publication ethics, this policy refers to international principles such as those of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Explanation

The Retraction & Correction Policy at IJS: International Journal of Social Humanities aims to ensure that every published article maintains high scientific validity and is free from ethical violations. Retractions are issued when there is strong evidence of serious violations such as plagiarism, data manipulation, or scientific misconduct that could significantly impact the research conclusions.

The article withdrawal process begins with an investigation by the editor, which may involve reviewers, the author's institution, or other relevant parties. Authors are given the right to provide clarification before a final decision is made. If violations are proven, the article will be withdrawn and will remain displayed in the journal system with a special label as "Retracted" to maintain transparency and academic track record.

Meanwhile, for errors that are minor and do not affect the main substance of the article, the journal will publish Correction in the form of an erratum or corrigendum. This step allows for corrections without having to withdraw the entire article.

With this policy, IJS strives to maintain public trust, uphold publication ethics, and ensure that every published scientific work is accurate, credible, and accountable for the development of social sciences and humanities.
