Explanation
The Article Processing Charge (APC) policy at IJPI: International Journal of Islamic Education is designed to support the sustainability of the journal without unduly burdening authors. The journal does not charge fees for manuscript submission or review, thus providing authors with ample opportunity to submit their scientific work.
Publication fees are only charged after an article has been accepted through peer review. This fee represents the author's contribution to the journal's operational costs, including OJS system management, DOI management, editing, and online publication. IJPI also implements the principle of transparency throughout the payment process.
In addition, the journal offers the possibility of fee waivers for authors subject to certain considerations, such as limited funding or significant academic contributions. This policy reflects IJPI's commitment to supporting inclusivity and equitable access to scientific publications.
With a clear and affordable APC system, IJPI strives to maintain a balance between publication quality, journal sustainability, and open access for the global academic community.
