Peer Review Process

Each manuscript will go through several stages of selection, from initial review by the editor to the final decision for publication.

The peer review process inIJPI: International Journal of Islamic Educationstarting from the stage of sending the manuscript by the author via the OJS system. In the initial stage, the editor carries outinitial screeningto ensure that manuscripts align with the journal's focus and scope and meet writing format standards. Furthermore, plagiarism checks are performed to maintain academic integrity.

Next, manuscripts that pass the initial selection will enter the next stage.desk evaluation, where the editor assesses the suitability of the article's substance, including its novelty and scientific contribution. If it meets the criteria, the editor will appoint at least two reviewers with relevant expertise to carry out the review.double-blind reviewAt this stage, the reviewer evaluates the quality of the methodology, the depth of analysis, and the relevance of the research results.

Based on the review results, the reviewer makes a recommendation of acceptance without revision, minor revision, major revision, or rejection. The author is then given the opportunity to make revisions based on the reviewer's input. After the revisions are sent back, the editor will review the manuscript.final decisionwhether the manuscript is accepted or not.
