Retraction

IJPI: International Journal of Islamic Education is committed to maintaining scientific integrity and publication quality by implementing policies retraction (article withdrawal) transparently and accountably. Retraction is carried out if a violation of publication ethics or serious errors are found that could affect the validity and reliability of the research results. This policy refers to international guidelines such as those of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Explanation

The retraction policy at IJPI: International Journal of Islamic Education aims to ensure that every published article has high scientific validity and is free from ethical violations. Retractions are issued when strong evidence of plagiarism, data manipulation, or significant scientific misconduct that could mislead readers is found.

The article retraction process begins with an investigation by the editor, which may involve reviewers, the authors' institutions, or other relevant parties. The author will be given the opportunity to provide clarification before a final decision is made. If serious violations are found, the article will be retracted.

Retracted articles will not be removed from the journal system but will remain available with a special "Retracted" label to maintain transparency and academic track record. In cases of minor errors that do not affect the main substance, the journal may issue corrections in the form of an erratum or corrigendum.
