Screaning Plagiarism

IJPI: International Journal of Islamic Education is committed to maintaining the academic integrity and originality of every published scientific work. Therefore, all submitted manuscripts will undergo a peer-review process.plagiarism screeningbefore proceeding to the review stage. This policy aims to prevent plagiarism, duplication of publications, and other forms of academic ethics violations.

Explanation

The plagiarism screening process at IJPI: International Journal of Islamic Education is conducted systematically to ensure that every published manuscript is original and makes a valid scientific contribution. Checks are conducted using plagiarism detection software such as Turnitin or iThenticate, which can identify the level of similarity (similarity index) of text with various published sources.

The maximum limit of the similarity index set is20%, with the exception of the bibliography and legitimate direct quotations. If the review reveals a high degree of similarity, the manuscript will be returned to the author for revision. However, if any indication of serious plagiarism, such as direct copying without citation or duplication of publications, is found, the manuscript will be rejected immediately.

Additionally, a re-examination may be conducted after the author has made revisions to ensure adequate corrections have been made. The author is solely responsible for the authenticity of the work, while the editor is responsible for verifying the results of the review and determining appropriate action.

With this policy, IJPI strives to maintain high standards of publication ethics and ensure that every published article has novelty, academic honesty, and a real contribution to the development of Islamic education.
